Hanna Sworn In To Represent New York's 22nd Congressional District

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- U.S. Representative Richard Hanna, R-Barneveld, today took the oath of office on the floor of the House of Representatives to serve New York's 22nd Congressional District.
House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) conducted a ceremonial swearing-in for Rep. Hanna. New York's 22nd Congressional District includes all of Chenango, Cortland, Madison and Oneida counties, and parts of Broome, Herkimer, Oswego and Tioga counties.
Rep. Hanna issued the following statement:
"It is a great privilege to serve the new 22nd Congressional District of New York. I am committed to serving the best interests of all citizens in the eight counties of our district.
"Through transparent decision making and increased accessibility, we are committed to the basic belief that this office works for you. We remain dedicated to assisting constituents and working hard on your behalf to promote fiscally responsible policies that help make upstate New York a place of opportunity and prosperity."
